Festa dell'Unità Regionale 2026

From September 4 to 15, 2026, Banchina Domenico Millelire and Passeggiata Barcellona will host the Festa dell'Unità Regionale. The event includes food stalls, shows, and social gathering moments. To facilitate the event, traffic modifications have been implemented, with parking and transit bans in the affected area.
1ª Coppa Ciutat de l'Alguer – Settembre Cestistico Algherese

The A.S.D. Scuola Addestramento alla Pallacanestro Alghero organizes the "Settembre Cestistico Algherese", a rich program of men's and women's tournaments to promote the educational and social values of sport, on the occasion of the society's 40th anniversary. The inaugural event of particular importance is the "1ª Coppa Ciutat de l'Alguer" (September 6), an international game featuring Dinamo Sassari from Serie A2 against a Croatian team. The event takes place from September 6 to October 4 at the Palestra Comunale Luca Manchia.
San Miquel Festival 2026

The "San Miquel Festival 2026" will enliven the center of Alghero with events spread over four days: September 11 (rehearsals and performances in Largo San Francesco), September 12 (parade from the port to Piazza Sulis), September 19 (parade from the port to Piazza Sulis), and September 28 (concert in Largo Lo Quarter). The parades will involve folk and musical groups, starting from the port and ending in Piazza Sulis.
Painting exhibition "Homage to Michelangelo Merisi, Caravaggio"

Painting exhibition dedicated to Caravaggio, set up at the Torre Sulis in Alghero. The exhibition offers an opportunity to admire works inspired by the famous artist. The initiative is sponsored by the Municipality of Alghero and is open to the public for the entire duration of the exhibition.
Campionato Italiano di Qualificazione 2026 di Pesca Subacquea

Il Campionato Italiano di Qualificazione di Pesca Subacquea si svolge ad Alghero dal 17 al 20 settembre 2026. La manifestazione, organizzata dall'A.S.D. G.S. Corallo Sub, ha carattere nazionale e richiama atleti, accompagnatori e appassionati da tutta Italia. L'evento promuove la conoscenza, il rispetto e la tutela dell'ambiente marino. Il patrocinio gratuito del Comune di Alghero conferma l'importanza dell'iniziativa per la valorizzazione del patrimonio naturalistico marino della città e per la promozione di un turismo sportivo di qualità.
World Para Swimming Open Water Cup 2026

Il 19 e 20 settembre 2026 si svolgerà ad Alghero, presso il lido (spiaggia di San Giovanni), la manifestazione sportiva internazionale "World Para Swimming Open Water Cup 2026". L'evento prevede gare di nuoto in acque libere per atleti paralimpici. Le strutture saranno allestite a partire dal 16 settembre e rimosse entro il 22 settembre.
8 Challenge Riviera del Corallo – Alguer Challenge Experience

La manifestazione "8 Challenge Riviera del Corallo – Alguer Challenge Experience – Motori, Sapori e Note Rock sotto le Stelle" si svolge nella borgata di Fertilia dal 25 al 28 settembre 2026. L'evento, originariamente previsto a luglio e rinviato a causa delle alte temperature, unisce motori, enogastronomia e musica rock. Il programma prevede l'occupazione temporanea di aree pubbliche e gode del gratuito patrocinio del Comune di Alghero.
La Brescia-Napoli – Classica in moto d'epoca

Alghero ospita la tappa della "Brescia-Napoli – Classica in moto d'epoca", una manifestazione turistico-sportiva che porta in città moto d'epoca provenienti da tutta Italia. L'evento prevede una sosta espositiva dei veicoli lungo i Bastioni Cristoforo Colombo, dove il pubblico potrà ammirare da vicino questi gioielli su due ruote.
Crai Alghero Half Marathon 2026

Domenica 27 settembre 2026 si terrà la 9ª edizione della Crai Alghero Half Marathon, una corsa su strada con percorsi certificati FIDAL di 21,097 km e 10 km. La partenza e l'arrivo sono previsti in Via Garibaldi (uscita area portuale). Il percorso toccherà diverse vie della città, tra cui Via Lido, Viale Primo Maggio, Viale Burruni, la ex SS127bis "Porto Conte", e il lungomare Rovigno, con giro di boa presso il Camping Laguna Blu.
