Every 4 November Guspini comes together for National Unity and Armed Forces Day, an occasion that combines the memory of the fallen of all wars with recognition for those who serve the State. The morning opens with Holy Mass in the Chiesa Parrocchiale San Nicolò; the procession then sets off from Piazza XX Settembre towards the Monumento ai Caduti in Piazza IV Novembre, accompanied by the Banda Musicale Città di Guspini, with the laying of a laurel wreath and a moment of silence. During the morning the Administration presents an award to the people of Guspini serving in the police and armed forces who have distinguished themselves through actions safeguarding personal and public safety. The commemoration concludes at the Cimitero comunale "Parco della memoria", before the plaque commemorating the fallen of Guspini, with the laying of a floral tribute. The initiative is organised by the Comune di Guspini.
