40th Italian Crossbow Shooting Championship (Tiro con la Balestra da Banco)

The 40th edition of the Italian Crossbow Shooting Championship brings the best crossbow companies from all over Italy to Iglesias. Organized by local associations with the patronage of the municipality, the event combines sports competition and historical reenactment. On Saturday, September 19, the Cloister of San Francesco hosts the Champions' Tournament and the Masters of Arms Tournament "Trofeo Domenico Lippolis". On Sunday, September 20, the day opens with a historical parade and continues at the Monteponi Sports Field with the Italian team championship and the individual competition.
Scuola Estiva "Giacimenti Minerari" - Depositi epitermali e idrotermali

Nell'ambito del programma formativo della Scuola di Specializzazione in Discipline Ambientali, l'ISPRA organizza la Scuola Estiva "Giacimenti Minerari", dedicata ai depositi epitermali e idrotermali. Il corso si svolge a Monteponi, nel comune di Iglesias, e ha l'obiettivo di formare giovani geoscienziati nel settore dei giacimenti minerari e della gestione sostenibile delle georisorse.
Giornate Europee del Patrimonio 2026 – Presentazione videoclip "Archivio, memorie, comunità"

Il Comune di Iglesias aderisce alle Giornate Europee del Patrimonio 2026, promosse dal MiBAC, con un evento dedicato alla memoria e agli archivi. Il 26 settembre, presso l'Archivio Storico Comunale, verrà presentato il videoclip dal titolo "Archivio, memorie, comunità. Il patrimonio documentario tra passato e nuove sfide". L'iniziativa è gratuita e aperta al pubblico.
