Returning for the twenty-fifth year, "Autunno in Barbagia" is a widespread event promoted with the slogan "The ancient taste of hospitality." From September 5 to December 13, 2026, 32 municipalities in central Sardinia open their homes, courtyards, and workshops for a long itinerary of discovery among crafts, flavors, and music. Every weekend, a different village showcases bread, sweets, cheeses, wines, and artistic handicrafts, accompanied by traditional dances and tenor singers. The major novelty of this edition is the guaranteed presence of artisans at all stages and a special focus on accessibility for people with disabilities.

On December 13, 2026, the courtyards and streets of the historic center of Orune come alive for a day entirely dedicated to the artisanal and gastronomic knowledge of Sardinia. In the stone corners of the village, the public can watch demonstrations and get their hands dirty: they prepare pane carasau, work on typical sweets, and roll fresh pasta. In other spaces, weavers show embroidery and the use of the vertical loom to make the traditional Orune carpet. The program also includes guided tours of the nuragic spring Su Tempiasu, music workshops, and ancient games open to adults and children.

Escursione nel Supramonte di Oliena per ragazzi dagli 11 ai 16 anni, organizzata dal Comune di Oliena nell'ambito delle attività ludico-ricreative estive. Il percorso parte dalla Fontana di Neosula e si snoda fino a Vaddu e S'Enis, attraversando zone ombreggiate tra su Romasinu e Hospes. Pranzo al sacco e rientro entro le 13:00.
