On Sunday 8 November 2026, Orotelli is discovered on foot, among the granite rocks and the streets of the village. The meeting point is at Arai: from here the route passes Roccia Su Thurpu, the Roccia del Fungo, Manaeri, Sas Ladas and Crastones, the wind-shaped formations that are the most recognisable feature of the landscape. In the afternoon the walk enters the historic centre, among alleys, museums and the Romanesque church of San Giovanni Battista, after lunch with typical cuisine. The route is also suitable for those with no hiking experience. The initiative is organised by the Associazione Turistica Pro Loco Orotelli with the Comune di Orotelli and the CAI, Nuoro section, as part of the Agroarcheotrekking 4.0 project, promoted by Epli and funded by the Ministry of Tourism.
