Autunno in Barbagia returns to Sarule on 19 and 20 September 2026 with the cortes apertas. In the historic centre of the town, ancient houses and courtyards open their doors to welcome visitors along a route of flavours, craftsmanship and traditional music. Tastings of typical Barbagia products, demonstrations of ancient crafts and exhibitions of local handicrafts enliven the two days, offering the opportunity to experience the authentic hospitality of the area. The initiative is part of the Autunno in Barbagia circuit, which involves dozens of towns in the Sardinian hinterland from September to December.

SarulExpo: a showcase of knowledge and flavors – una Ghettada de Manu

Sarule (NU)

On September 20th in Sarule, SarulExpo takes place, a day dedicated to traditional flavors and knowledge, organized by the Pro Loco with the support of the Municipality and the Sardinia Region. The event, whose full name is “una Ghettada de Manu”, is held between the Casa Museo and the streets of the town. In the morning, the Casa Museo opens with tastings and an exhibition of handmade crafts. This is followed by demonstrations of traditional bread-making, weaving, and the dressing of the wedding costume, as well as guided tours. In the afternoon, there is itinerant entertainment with traditional music and dances, train rides, and visits to Monte Gonare. The evening closes with a DJ set.

Autunno in Barbagia – Cortes Apertas 2026

Il Comune di Olzai aderisce al circuito Autunno in Barbagia con l'evento Cortes Apertas, in programma sabato 24 e domenica 25 ottobre 2026. La manifestazione mira a valorizzare le produzioni agroalimentari, artigianali e tipiche locali, promuovendo la storia, la cultura e le tradizioni del paese. I visitatori potranno scoprire gli attrattori culturali e paesaggistici di Olzai, con un percorso esperienziale integrato nel centro abitato. L'evento prevede punti di ristoro, esposizioni e attività di accoglienza e informazione per i turisti, nel rispetto del disciplinare ASPEN della Camera di Commercio di Nuoro.

Thermal stay 2026 - "Da Soli Mai" project

As part of the "Da Soli Mai" project, the Municipality of Orotelli organizes a thermal stay in Monticelli Terme, reserved for resident citizens over 65. The initiative, carried out in collaboration with the Municipality of Orgosolo, aims to promote the psychophysical well-being and socialization of the elderly.
