On October 6, 1800, the community of Thiesi rose up against feudal abuses in what is remembered as “S’annu de S’atacu”. To commemorate these events, the municipal administration organizes a historical walk through the streets of the town that were the scene of the revolt. Guided by Professor Salvatore Ferrandu, participants will retrace the symbolic places of the clashes, accompanied by performances from the theater company “A Contu Nostru” and musical interludes. The route concludes with the laying of a bouquet of flowers at “su cunzone de s’impicu”, in memory of the fallen Tiesini.
