Porto Torres (SS)

A program of guided tours and educational activities to explore the rich historical and archaeological heritage of Porto Torres. The initiative connects the city's main monuments, from the Basilica of San Gavino to the archaeological area of Turris Libisonis, offering a cohesive narrative of the territory. The service is designed both for those arriving in the city by sea, with particular attention to cruise passengers in transit at the port, and for those participating in major summer cultural events such as Monumenti Aperti and the Festha Manna. Management is entrusted to the cooperative Memoria Storica, active from July 1 to December 31, 2026.

The traveling exhibition "Nonostante il lungo tempo trascorso... Le stragi nazifasciste nella Guerra di Liberazione 1943-1945" stops in Olbia, at the Atrio of the Archaeological Museum. The exhibition, now in its fifteenth stop, addresses the topic of Nazi-fascist massacres during the Liberation War, with the aim of keeping historical memory alive. Admission is free.

Installation of the sculptural work "Germinazione" by Giuseppe Carta

Banari (SS)

The Municipality of Banari hosts the installation of the sculptural work "Germinazione" by artist Giuseppe Carta, a pomegranate made of Carrara statuary marble. The work will be displayed on via Marongiu, at number 30, in a public space temporarily granted for exhibition purposes. The work is accessible to the public free of charge, offering an opportunity to admire the city's artistic heritage while enhancing public spaces. The installation is located near Palazzo Tonca, the Casa d'Arte of Giuseppe Carta, which is expected to reopen to the public shortly.

Photo contest 'Tresnuraghes in uno scatto 2026'

Tresnuraghes (OR)

The Municipality of Tresnuraghes organizes the first edition of the photo contest 'Tresnuraghes in uno scatto 2026', to promote and enhance the landscape, natural and identity heritage of the municipal territory through photography. The theme is 'Panoramas and sunsets of Tresnuraghes and Porto Alabe'. The photographs, original and taken within the municipal territory, must be submitted by September 30, 2026. The winning photo will be the one with the most 'Likes' on the official Facebook page of the Municipality and will receive a €200 gift voucher.

Exhibition "Donne della Resistenza. Madri della Costituzione. Itinerari di Democrazia"

From August 26 to September 24, 2026, the Museo della Donna in Pauli Arbarei hosts the exhibition "Donne della Resistenza. Madri della Costituzione. Itinerari di Democrazia", dedicated to the role of women in the Resistance and the Founding Mothers. Campagna scavi archeologici a Bruncu e s'Omu 2026

Villa Verde (OR)

The Municipality of Villa Verde organizes the summer archaeological excavation campaign at the nuragic site of Bruncu e s'Omu, in the locality of Mitza Margiani. The initiative, carried out in partnership with the Consorzio Due Giare and the University of Cagliari, combines scientific research and education, with students participating in the excavations under the direction of Prof. Riccardo Cicilloni. The period runs from August 31 to September 25, 2026, with logistical support from the Centro di Produzione Culturale della Marmilla Move the Box. The event is an opportunity to visit the nuragic village and observe the work of archaeologists up close.

Olbia (SS)

From 4 to 24 September 2026, the Spazio Holo in Olbia, on via Seychelles in the industrial area, hosts "RESPONSE. Non copiare. Rispondi.", a collective photography exhibition born from the open call launched by the Associazione Culturale CAATS with Tramas Hotel and Arizona. The exhibition explores the thin line between inspiration and originality, presenting a selection of unpublished works that respond with different languages to the theme of creative response. The opening evening on Thursday, September 4, offers a tour through the works divided into three moments: opening at 7:00 pm, guided tour at 8:00 pm and DJ set from 8:30 pm until late at night. An opportunity to meet the photographers and discover the stories behind each shot up close. The exhibition remains open until September 24, offering more opportunities to visit for those who want to see the ways in which the authors interpreted the concept of response, in a dialogue between images that invites the public to question what it really means to create.
